    Topic : A study on awareness of human rights among high school students.       Human rights education is defined as training, dissemination and information efforts aimed at building a  universal culture of human rights by imparting knowledge, skills and molding attitudes. Reading books takes us to the world of imagination and enhances our creativity.  Reading and reflection on a text is a very essential work in the B. Ed course and it helps us to aware of many science books.         In the second semester I have selected a book named " Brief answers to the Big questions" for reading and reflection work. As part of our second semester B. Ed field trip we have visited Poovar Island .Poovar is located 30 kms south of Trivandrum.The boat ride was amazing and the place is a pleasing mix of coconut and banana groves, dense growth of spices, flowering plants etc.Poovar island is just mindblowing because of its immense natural beauty which fortunately remains unspoilt.   The field trip was an experience to get more attached with my collegues and it helped me to understand and enjoy the life outside the classroom. fieldtrip

In India, Teacher's day was celebrated on September 5 to mark the birthday of former President, scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Across India, students honour and pay tribute to their teachers by sending Teachers Day greetings, quotes, messages, etc.           We celebrated Teacher's day on 8th September 2021 at 2 pm. The function was inaugurated by Dr. B Sheeba Kumari Ma'am and she delivered a speech on the duties of a teacher. The speech was extremely thought provoking and it gave us ideas for how to become an ideal teacher.
